Holidays, special occasions, and many fun times are
spent with our family and friends! We are close to
both of our families, and they are very important to
us. We enjoy getting together with them throughout
the year, and have lots of extended family to love
and play with our child. Both of our families and most
of our extended family live in California
family lives in Northern California also, just an hour
and a half away, and Kristine's family lives in Central
California, about 3 hours away.

Our "family circle" also includes our friends, whom we
have fun spending time with, too. Most of our friends
have become parents, and have "little and big"
playmates for our child to play with. Our family and
friends are excited about us adopting a child, and the
grandmas can't wait to have a new grandchild to love
and spoil! Our dog Bernie can be a fun little doggy
friend at home, too... he loves to play, snuggle, and
give kisses!

Our family shares a part of two cultural backgrounds
and our American heritage, from our families that we
grew up in. Scott has a Hispanic/American background,
and Kristine has an Armenian/American background
from her family, and also from part of her birthmother's
background. (She also has a Greek background from
her birthfather.)

We feel that our families' cultural backgrounds and
American heritage are a rich part of our families'
traditions, and will share them with our child, as well as
sharing with our child their own unique cultural heritage
and background.
